Crown Mountain BMX Pancake Wagon Breakfast

The Basalt Lions Club will be at Crown Mountain Park with the Pancake Wagon serving breakfast burritos, coffee, orange juice, and water during a youth BMX race. We’ll be accepting cash and card. We’re excited to welcome hungry racers and fans!

Join us for a busy morning at Crown Mountain Park as we support the Roaring Fork Valley Triple Crown Baseball Tournament. We’ll be serving up hot breakfast burritos to players, families, and fans beginning at 7:30 AM and going until noon. We’ll be accepting cash and card This is a great opportunity to fuel up and support the Lions Club - all while enjoying a day of youth baseball in the valley!

Scholarships for Basalt Students

Location: Basalt High School & Online

We award $1,000 annual scholarships (renewable for four years) to graduating seniors from Basalt High School. These scholarships help students pursue higher education and achieve their dreams. Awards will be announced sometime between May 1–31, 2025, with exact notification times shared directly with recipients via email.

Lacrosse Tournament

Location: Crown Mountain Park. El Jebel, CO

Join us at the Basalt Lacrosse Tournament, where the community comes together to celebrate youth sports and raise funds for local scholarships and service initiatives. The Basalt Lions Club will be serving delicious food at our fundraising booth, with all proceeds going towards supporting educational programs and community projects.
We’ll also bring our iconic Pancake Wagon and be serving breakfast and lunch on both days!

Kids Sight Program

The Basalt Lions Club proudly supports the Colorado Lions KidSight Program, offering essential vision screenings to preschool and elementary-aged children. This early screening helps detect eye issues that, if left untreated, could lead to long-term or permanent vision problems.
