Effective Date: APRIL 10, 2025

By proceeding with your membership application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by the following terms and expectations associated with being a member of the Basalt Lions Club.

1. PURPOSE OF MEMEBERSHIP
Membership in the Basalt Lions Club is voluntary and intended for individuals who are committed to supporting the Club’s mission of service, philanthropy, and community impact within the Roaring Fork Valley and beyond.

2. MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the Basalt Lions Club, you agree to:

• Uphold the mission and values of Lions Club International.
• Act in good faith, with integrity, and in the spirit of service.
• Represent the Club in a respectful and community-oriented manner at all times.

3. PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
To maintain active member status, each member is expected to fulfill the following minimum participation requirements:

• Attend at least one (1) club meeting per quarter. *
• Volunteer at least one (1) community service event per year. *
• Support or participate in at least one (1) fundraising initiative per year. *
• These commitments help ensure the vitality and impact of our programs, and allow all members to play a meaningful role in our shared mission.

4. FINANCIAL COMMITMENT
All members are responsible for the timely payment of annual membership dues. Payment instructions will be provided upon successful application approval. These funds contribute to operational support and community service activities.

6. PRIVACY & DATA UE
The Basalt Lions Club will collect and securely maintain your personal information for internal use only. This includes communication regarding meetings, events, volunteer opportunities, and dues notifications. We will not share or sell your information.
