Batter up! The Basalt Baseball Tournament is another great opportunity to support our local community. The Basalt Lions Club will be running a food booth, offering tasty meals to fans and players. Proceeds from food sales will directly fund scholarships and essential community programs.
He will discuss protection of home or office from bears & he will also discuss the wolf sightings in the area and mountain lions: The talk will be about 30 minutes. All are welcome to join and the meeting is free to anyone who would like to attend.
Join us for the biggest fundraiser of the year! The Annual Charity Golf Tournament is a fun-filled day of golf, friendly competition, and community giving. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or a beginner, this event welcomes all skill levels.
Through our KidSight Vision Screening Program, we visit local preschools and elementary schools to detect vision issues early. Our screenings identify conditions such as lazy eye, cross-eye, and refractive issues. Children in need receive referrals to 20/20 Eye Care, and for families without medical coverage, the Lions Club covers the cost of treatment.
Join us at the Basalt Lacrosse Tournament, where the community comes together to celebrate youth sports and raise funds for local scholarships and service initiatives. The Basalt Lions Club will be serving delicious food at our fundraising booth, with all proceeds going towards supporting educational programs and community projects. We’ll also bring our iconic Pancake Wagon and be serving breakfast and lunch on both days!
Each December, we participate in the Basalt Tree Lighting Ceremony at Willits and Downtown Basalt. We serve hot chili, bring the community together, and celebrate the holiday spirit with music, lights, and festivities.
